Full Moon In Bloom
(Exhibition Wall Text – First Person, Dramatic Museum Tone)
Full Moon In Bloom was captured on a quiet evening, after a hearty dinner and the kind of stillness that invites reflection. I lifted my hand toward the sky, and in that simple gesture, I found myself reaching for something far beyond the orbiting moon above me.
In that moment, I wasn’t just photographing the night — I was acknowledging my place within it.
The moon, glowing in full bloom, felt like a mirror suspended in the darkness: distant yet intimate, unreachable yet profoundly present. My hand beneath it became a symbol of the connection between what we touch and what we long for, between the grounded realities of life and the unseen possibilities hovering just beyond our grasp.
In alignment with the mission of this exhibition, this piece stands as a reminder that visibility is not only found in grand stories or celebrated spaces. It exists in the small, sacred gestures — the reaching, the yearning, the quiet moments where we choose to see ourselves as part of something larger.
Full Moon In Bloom is my bridge between earth and sky, between my own humanity and the infinite mystery above. It is a tender affirmation that even in the simplest motions, we can rediscover wonder, presence, and the light that guides us forward.
