Parisienne Light Trails

In Parisienne Light Trails, I found myself standing alone beneath the illuminated majesty of the —a moment shaped not by romance or celebration, but by a series of misfortunes and letdowns that left me navigating Paris with only my own spirit to rely on.

Yet in that solitude, something shifted.

As I photographed the rushing streams of light below, I realized that the city wasn’t overwhelming me; it was embracing me. The long-exposure trails became symbols of motion and release—each streak marking a step away from what had disappointed me and a step toward rediscovering myself.

The tower’s golden glow rose above me like a monument to endurance, refusing to dim even in the depths of night. In its radiance, I felt my own resilience mirrored back.

This piece is not just a photograph of Paris; it is a record of the moment I chose to keep moving, to keep creating, and to keep believing in the beauty still available to me.

Parisienne Light Trails is my reminder that even through disappointment, I can find light, claim space, and allow the world to meet me with new meaning when I am ready to look up.
