HERE I STAND

” Here I Stand ” captures a quiet defiance against time and space, a moment suspended between structure and sky. From the edge of the Tennessee River, I place the viewer on a pier that stretches across the frame, grounding them while their gaze ascends. The Market Street Bridge and the distant Walnut Street Bridge frame the river’s narrowing path, guiding the eye toward the stars above. It is a meditation on perspective, presence, and the human need to witness—to stand, even in the stillness of night, between the permanence of man-made constructs and the infinite rhythm of the cosmos.
